"Marco Polo at the Court of Kublai Khan” by and with Gerardo Balestrieri
A reading with live music inspired by Italo Calvino's The Invisible Cities, on the occasion of the writer's 100th birthday. It is a reading accompanied by sounds and suggestions, with music and instruments from the Silk Road, which will bring to life the dialogues between Marco Polo and the emperor Kublai Khan, enriched by descriptions of his travels, the cities he travelled through and, above all, the great protagonist: Venice.
