The Venice Home

The Home of The Human Safety Net is hosted on the third floor of Procuratie Vecchie in St. Mark's Square in Venice.

The Venice Home

A global movement of people helping people initiated by Generali, The Human Safety Net aims to unlock the potential of people living in vulnerable circumstances: families with children aged 0 to 6 years and refugees supporting their integration into their host countries through work and entrepreneurship.

The building - once offices and living quarters of the high officials of the Venetian republic, the Procurators of St. Mark's - has been home to the offices of Generali since 1832 and is now open to the public for the first time in 500 years.

Thanks to the interactive Exhibition A World of Potential, The Home of The Human Safety Net, is meant to lead visitors along a surprising and unexpected journey to discover their strengths and learn about the social impact of The Human Safety Net programmes and how they can take action. The Art Studio – meant to host temporary exhibitions - flanks the permanent Exhibition.

The Home of the Human Safety Net is also an open space for our partners to become a catalyst for the ESG agenda in a city that aims to become the «World Capital of Sustainability».
